All About Me

Who I Am

My name is Arielle and I’m a DONA International trained Doula serving Los Angeles County, California.
I attended my first birth in 2011, when a good friend requested my support during the birth of her first child, and thus my introduction to birth work began. After this experience, I knew this line of work was incredibly important to me and continued to support birthing and postpartum journeys.
I studied and worked as a therapist for many years, although friends would continually come to me for birth and postpartum support, allowing me to also practice as a doula.
In 2022  I gave birth to my first child. After experiencing birth and postpartum for myself, I became all too aware of the gap in care when it comes to supporting birthing people in navigating their postpartum journey. My goal is to support families through their prenatal, birth, and postpartum experiences and fill the gaps where so much care and compassion is needed. Since the birth of my daughter, I have focused on birth work full time, completed an extensive doula training process, and attended to dozens of families and counting. I work with families of all backgrounds and preferences. I am LGBTQIA2S+ friendly and also work with single parents and gestational surrogates. I am proud to hold the title of Therapist-turned-Doula and continue to support expanding families in the Los Angeles area.

Support Services

Prenatal Visits

I take on a limited number of clients at any one time to ensure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. In our Prenatal Visits, my goal is to reduce any stress, answer any questions, help formulate birth preferences, and explore coping and calming strategies and each visit allows me to dedicate my full focus to your body and your baby.

Birthing Guidance

With my Birthing Guidance, I offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during and after birth. I help with informing and creating a birth plan that aligns with your desires, basics of childbirth education, laboring positions, practicalities, coping strategies, and much more. I will stay in close contact for 2 weeks before your due date up until the birth of your baby in order to routinely check how you’re doing and step in with anything you might need.

Postpartum Support

Pregnancy, birth, and the early days of child rearing can be as overwhelming as they are magical. My role with my Postpartum Support service is to ensure you get the best information and care possible. Unlike many Doulas, my contract runs for the entire 3 month period after your baby is born. I focus on Parental Empowerment,  Confidence Building, Lactation Support, and Postpartum Mental Health. The 4th trimester is the most beautiful but also can be challenging and new parents need the most support during this time as they blossom into their new roles. No matter when you need me, I will be there offering support.

I also offer more traditional services, like day/night infant care to help new parents rest and recover during the early postpartum period. I offer both 4 hour and 8 hour packages for infant care support.

“Going through my first pregnancy alongside Arielle was such a  blessing. Her compassion, support and knowledge base was invaluable to me (at all times of the day!) both pre and post pregnancy. Arielle empowers women in their journey of motherhood in a way that I truly believe is her life calling.” - Elizabeth D.

“Arielle is truly a magical doula. When I gave birth to my first born I had no idea what to expect. Arielle was by my side through the whole long labor (21 hours). She held my hand and guided me through the pain, rubbed my back and gave me heat pads too. I couldn't imagine going through birth without her. Her services are not limited to birth though. After birth she is a wealth of information and postpartum support. She is so kind and gentle, a genuine rock during the hardest time of a woman's life.” - Pamela I.
